Overview:
Flaxseed, known in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as Hu Ma Ren or Ya Ma Zi, refers to the dried mature seeds of the Linum usitatissimum plant. It is traditionally used to moisten the intestines, promote bowel movements, and nourish yin and body fluids. Botanical Characteristics:
